What!!  Studies show drinking tea is as good as drinking water! My main concern with tea was the caffeine content. But according to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, the caffeine from tea is different from coffee. The caffeine from tea contains a protein called theanine which does the opposite of caffeine and lowers high blood pressure.


I would always recommend filtered water over tea as our body does not get enough of it. Also because most of us don’t drink the healthier teas, like green tea or Tulsa. AND people like to put lots and lots of sugar or pasteurized milk in their tea, which of course would be horrible for your immune system.
