Natural Trans-Fat!!
Artificial Trans-fats are bad for you, but naturally occurring ones may have very different effects.
A diet with enriched levels of trans-vaccenic acid (VA), a natural animal fat found in dairy and beef products, can actually reduce risk factors associated with heart disease, diabetes and obesity, according to a researcher from the University of Alberta.
The benefit was due in part to the ability of VA to reduce the production of chylomicrons, which are particles of fat and cholesterol that form in your small intestine following a meal. They are then rapidly processed throughout the body, and may be related to a variety of conditions arising from metabolic disorders.
Experiments on rats showed that VA in the diet could lower total cholesterol by approximately 30 percent, LDL cholesterol by 25 percent, and triglyceride levels by more than 50 percent.

Doctors Note:
Now after reading this article you may now know why some grass fed only cows have trans-fatty acid in them. I was confused for the longest time until Dr. Mercola explained to me that there are two different types of trans-fatty acid. The good and the bad, the good is naturally occurring and is beneficial to your health.
The bad on the other hand is by far the worst ingredient put in food known to man. It clogs your arteries and is the main reason why people die of heart disease; its by far worst than cigarette smoking for your overall health.
The bad trans fat comes from Partially hydrogenated oils and also can be known as just hydrogenated oil. The only way to find out if any of the food you are eating contains trans fat is by reading the list of ingredients. You can’t go by the labels advertising 0g trans fat as there are companies who manipulate the rules and minimize the serving sizes to contain 0.5g per serving allowing them to round down to zero grams. And FYI there have been no studies to show that any amount of trans fat is safe for consumption.
