Eating at home is usually the best way to go. I used to eat out all the time and am never usually satisfied with what I get. Either I felt bloated afterwards, or I felt it wasn’t worth what I spent, especially now that I eat at home, the food that my wife and I make taste a whole lot better and spend a whole lot less.
I have always known what most of these food consist of but what surprise me the most was how deceptive subway’s 9 grain meal was. Most of the grains are in miniscule amounts being in the 2% or less section. Most of it is plain white flour. Not alone, it consist of 16 different ingredients!
I don’t eat any of those mentioned in this article, for other reasons other than what was stated. I have an ingredient list of things I always avoid. This list, does not contain all the bad stuff just the main one used except for sodium nitrate. Sodium nitrate is used for preservative in meats such as deli meat or hot dogs.
I chose this article as the article of the month because the writer explains it very well in laymen’s term that most people would understand it. Hopefully this will turn your head to a healthier decision.
